Help I hit a Curb
I hit a curb yesterday i was doing a u turn fast there was sand and the front slipped i was holding the steering wheel with one hand so it slipped off my hand then my car hit the curb with the front tire so u think that did any damage to suspension and how do i check? if it did any?? i dont see any rim damage? Do u think there could be any damage and if there is how do u tell?

maybe your tire just hit the curb. there shouldn't be any problems. worst case scenario your alignment would be off, but should be able to easily tell if it's drastically pulling to the left or right.

thx white w203 i feel better now and less worried about what happened. it was crazy the back skid and i lost control cuz i was doing it with one hand big mistake i learned tho no more 1 hand Lol. and i hit the curb with the front wheel thats what happened. you know when u do those fast U-Turns how it feels so good but there was sand i did not see it it was dark killed my fun i was trying to show off but ye Lol. i am sure u know what i mean by i was driving with one hand if u done drifiting with one hand haha

Kid, you don't have a handle on basic automotive mechanics, much less on how your car handles. SLOW THE F*CK down, and get some seat time. When you have a handle on your car, and basic driving skills you will know enough to say when you are over your head. So far, everything you have said shows how much you don't know.
I highly suggest a basic drivers course for you. As in accident avoidance, handling, rain driving...This same course can teach you about fluids, and basic maintenance.

There shouldn't be a problem, only damage would be the alignment. I assume you're the same guy that post about 5K RPM. Stop worrying so much and you'll know when the car needs to be repaired.

Dont worry about how i got the license man Lol. I paid for it. i hit the curb pretty good thats why i am asking cuz i tested it it does not go to the sides when braking so i done so much crazier sh*t with this car u dont even know and also i hit the curb with the rear rim messed up the rim lil bit cuz i was trying to do a 180 and i hit the curb got lucky tho it was not that bad.
why do u guys get mad i mean sh*t happends. thx for the help it makes me wanna keep doing this now Lol

i handle this car good n i think i drive pretty good + i love it when it rains i am pretty good at rain i learned on rain too in a parking lot i almost crashed into a mustang gt for the same reason i guess the ESP helped me

Lol this is some funny sh*t well i guess just stepping on the gas a lil bit more would do it.
for the 180 part there is this guy that was doing 180s and he was talkin sh*t about mercedes so i had to go try a 180 but it went wrong.

every thing i asked i already knew pretty much cuz i asked people that go on the track and every thing i ask them they say it does not mess up ur car and i thought maybe they are just too crazy and Lol
i handle this car good n i think i drive pretty good + i love it when it rains i am pretty good at rain i learned on rain too in a parking lot i almost crashed into a mustang gt for the same reason i guess the ESP helped me

And I think you should have someone look at your car and suspension parts. Some parts tend to be fine for a while until something happens. Piece of mind I guess.

atleast the people said it looked cool and he said my car is a toy i would not try this and all that but my car is a soldier so i was down and i went for it. i see him around doing 180s maybe i should learn a 360? and show him up? Lol. i know it might be funny i cant do 180 and already going for a 360 Lol i seen a 360 only on a streetfire or utube.com vidoes lol.

Hey slammedcclass, think you should calm down a bit on the 180 and 360's, by the way you type you sound very young. This isn't "Need for Speed Most Wanted". you could seriously damage your car and including yourself, and your placing others in danger. If you want to learn how to do circles take it to a skid pad or in the middle of no where, not a parking lot where there are cars for you to bust up.

Need For Speed Carbon is the new one i gotta get that. i agree with u. but its not my fault the Mustang was in the wrong place at the wrong time. just like when i got rear ended and when my car got egged my car was just in the wrong place at the wrong time.
This one guy was backin out and i he did not wanna stop when he saw me coming so he almost hits me. i parked my car and he pulls up next to me steps out of his car and says wtf homie do u know how to f***** drive. i was thinkin i can drive better than u for sure. he got close to my car he was crazy it looked like he was goignh to do something and i stepped on the gas almost hit him cuz i did not know if he was gonna take out a gun or a knife or something. i was driving pretty fast in the parking lot cuz he got in the car and started chasing me but when i got out of the parking lot i hit 90 i almost lost him but he was still following and then i drove by some houses taking some scary turns and i lost him so there is the answer to his question do u know how to f***** drive homie???

i think you should check your wheel just to make sure it's not bent
if you feel vibrating when driving, then most likely the wheel is bent.
so it's always better to check it, some shop won't even charge you to check if it's bent or not.

for sure i am going tomorrow. i dont see any thing i on the rim u can tell on the tire where it hit so i looked there for damage on the rim i dont see any thing so tomorrow i will just take it n see wat happened. i dont know the whole thing just sucks when u hit ur car u feel that something is wrong or might be i hate that feeling it makes u feel stupid but u forget after time so. well all thix help was good makes me feel like nothing happened Lol or not sorry for what happened.
oh and my friends bmw 330i the two door one he parked behind me it was down hill and his wheels were turned to the right. he was trying to back up but it was in D not R so he hits the gas and the car hits the curb so hard that the frong got on the curb. i was right there next to my car. i got lucky his car went on the curb not hitting my car lol. Nothing was wrong with his car so i dont know lol.

My Advice for SlammedCClass, stop tryin to live life in the fast lane. This isn't Need For Speed or Fast n Furious, and judging by you almost hitting a PARKED car, hitting a curb, driving through a parking lot wrecklessly, not to mention residential areas where there may be CHILDREN. Man take it down a notch or TEN!
Your obviously no pro behind the wheel. Stop trying to show off and absorb some time behind the wheel until you actually know what your doing. Your putting everyone at risk, even if you dont care about yourself.
Sad to say, but wreckless & irresponsible drivers like you are some of the reasons why our insurance rates are so high.
