how low do tein basics go exactly?
Anyone out there know exactly how low you can get the rear on an 02 coupe with tein basics? whats the lowest setting? two inches?
some places show that the tein basic coilovers only allow a 1.6 rear drop. im getting 19x9.5 r and 8.5 f axis milanos. Then I want to slam my car. This car below is my heroe. Can I get my car to look like this or is this photoshop? the owner says he cut half a coil in the rear and they are h&r springs. 19's with 35s 9.5 in the rear. He says rubbing is no issue, rolling the fenders took care of that.

Hey bud, in an effort to help you out the quickest. I do advise you to do a search for BlakeP's tein coilover setup. Back in my CarLAB days we had "dumped" the car on the lowest Tein setting possible (and it looks pretty good - though probably not as dumped as in your photo). If you're happy with it, go for the Teins, but do some research first.
Also, a few people have been complaining that the Tein (Basics) start to sag a bit after a few K-miles, this could possibly help towards your goal I suppose. But just remember, to readjust the rear takes more time and effort than the fronts. The phrase "set it and forget it" applies

if you plan on getting audio in the rear you're eventually tuck where the rim and with the lowest setting on the coilovers

Tein will actually go lower than what is in the front. I have my front tire at the fender with a setting in the middle, the lowest setting should have it tucked to the rim.
That low in the rear looks silly. I prefer a matched front/rear even if it means the car is raked.
