Hello Guys..Have been monitoring this forum and has been brilliant..so thought might as well join in..Got a 04 C class facelift..Just having the AMG body kit installed..Upgraded the wheels to 18" double spoke AMG with 225 front and 255 rears on Michelin Pilot Sport 2..It is brilliant as compared to the older 17" sport rims that came with it ad continental sport contact 2..will post a before and after..

Prior to AMG kit being put on
Car came with the sports pack.Wife curbed the front 2 rims that came with the sports pack. So good excuse to upgrade to proper AMG 18"..225 front and 255 rears..Car has supagard waxing on..THe car defiantely rides better after the alloy and tyre switch..Continentals were noisy..Fitted the AMG's to the new Michelin Pilot Sport 2..Brilliant grip and noise levels..

The alloys are originals sourced from Mercedes Benz..Replicas normally are available on ebay..It is always noticable when you have replicas..Seen a BMW wth ac snitzer replica alloys..Stood a mile off..Waste of money at the end of the day..

Yup..I requested it as it looks much better having the dechrome spec ..Got it debadged as well(model) but left the Kompressor badge on..Even managed to get an AMG side fender badge..Will be perfect once AMG kit gets put on..then it will be suttle not too much into your face badging of AMG..will look more factory than after market add on..

Another thing. The car is in UK..so maybe the specs are slightly different..UK specs dont have the indicators on the side front bumper..Why is this on the USA models..since main lens unit has one as well as the side mirrors..Think it is the same with Aussie models as well..

Thanks for the welcomes guys..The car gets washed twice a week..takes e longers since i got the AMG's..since i spent heck of a lot of money on it..even clean behind the spokes..and give it a wax spray..it is like wheels visiting a salon..wash and wax..visal sasoon style..but it is worth every second..the wife thinks i have gone bonkers..but she does notice the crowd checking out the wheels on the car at traffic lights and enjoys every moment of it..but still not letting her park the car..not having this AMG's curbed..told her to stick her head out when parking next to the curb..this is what i do..guaranteed curb free damage..but it also means, parking with drivers side towards curb..if i cannot manage that, i dont park..not worth the risk..I can still remember i had tears when i saw my old sports rims with the curb damage..If you check the pictures, you can see how nastythe curbs are in the UK>.
