Anyone install 05 C230K SS springs on a pre 05 C?
I'm thinking of installing springs from a 2005 C230 SS onto my 03 C230 SS in order to achieve a small drop.
Has anyone done this mod?
Mostly, I'm wondering whether these springs will make the car too low to achieve factory camber specs without a camber kit.
I know that the suspension was upgraded in 05 in other ways besides the springs, such as a wider track and stiffer sway bars, so I'm wondering whether the suspension geometry is different enough to make the 05 springs incompatible with the 03.

my buddy installed 05 SS springs on his 03 c230 and it did drop it a bit but not a whole lot. i dont think he was too pleased with the front gap but still much lower than stock none the less.

Great! That's good to hear since I'm not looking for a big drop. So his car still sits up higher than a stock 05? Do you know whether he was able to get the rear camber back within factory specs?
