Absolutely not in any of my cars. The wife's car is a virtual buffet of 10 month old french fries and what not. I once sold a perfectly good car 6 month old car because my wife borrowed it and fed my daughter at the time and the bottle leaked in the car and I could not get rid of the smell. It's been 12 years and hasn't happened again.

No.
I'll drink water.
I will transport most cooked food.
Ditto on my wife's car being a buffet of old food, crayons, paper, trash etc.
The only thing you'll see lying around in my car is a cellphone maybe some CDs, my blue light and some occasional office paperwork.
In the trunk are three golf clubs, an umbrell, a collapsable chair, five flares, an extrication kit & gloves, and a bolt cutter.

No eating; no smoking; but yes to drinking beverages (non-alcoholic ones only please).
Instead of food crumbs - I do have dog hairs - seems like no matter how hard I try to clean - I find dog hairs.

I dont generally allow any food in the car...
but the wife sometimes brings in stuff and commences to eat it even with the deathly stare on my face. I dont let it get to me since I clean the car relatively often. At least she's not a total mess. Smoking is out of the question. It can be 10 below and she will get out if she needs to have a cig..
