Silly question of the day...

On a 02 C230 Kompressor with 16x7's with a 37mm offset, will I have any problems if I install 17x7.5 36mm offset on the front (225/45/R17) and 17x8.5 34mm offset on the rear (245/40/R17).
My concern is with the offset/any rubs and computer problems.

it will work without rubbing, but your cars computer will go crazy! it will tell you the wrong speed, time and play AM radio instead of FM
