I bought this Ipod Kit on Black Friday for a decent price and I'm going to install it on the next weekend.
I already searched the forum but couldnt come up with too many informations about the radio I have in my 2005 C230. I know that the AUX-in is blocked by my CD-changer, but the Kit needs that AUX-in too and I dont want to lose the cd-changer. Anyone have infos on model number/ pictures showing the back/ specifications etc? Any kind of contribution is very much appreciated.
I might even do a write-up if it doesnt take me 3-4 hours to get that thing installed.

I have several of these Drive+Play kits in my E, my C and my truck. I don't use the line out...I use the external FM modulator(HK part #DPFMT1US). It plugs into the HK module's antenna port, then connects in-line to your radio's antenna input. The lead from your antenna connects to the modulator.
With this device, you get zero signal fade, because you're injecting a strong signal into the radio at a specific frequency. Even a local "on air" station won't bleed in.
You can get the modulator at Crutchfied or any other HK dealer....about $18.00
