What tires do you have on your c-class?

I'm thinking of getting Brigestone Potenza GIII's 205/55 R16 instead of Michelin Pilot Primacy's. Any comments/suggestions ?

bridgeatone tires are garbage, try Micheline PS2 if you on a budget go for Falken 452 they are cheap and perform great.

I have the best tires made on both my MB's, Riken Raptors, rim protectors, cool looking pattern, and priced reasonably ($387 OTD (tax, balance, mounting) for C7 wheels, $420 for staggered wheels on my 2004.5 C230)

Right now I just have the stock Sport wheels on them. Does anybody know what brand they are????

I also have an 05 Nissan Altima which I was planning on driving this winter and parking the Benz but after driving the Benz the Altima isn't the same. I am going to sell it and buy winter tires for my Benz. I was thinking of the Nokian Hakkapellittas (sp?) because I have heard they are good. Any advice on winter tires from people who are unfortunate like to me have to drive through lots of snow and ice? Thanks!

I like the Eagle F1 for performance, I'm trying the General UHP for longer life and they seem to be holding up well. I hate Continental because every set I have had has worn uneven and made the car handle terrible and start pulling like the alignment was out. Changed the tires and the problem went away. One note General tires I believe is part of Continental.

Pilot Sports, front set is from when I bought the car new (July, 04). Replace the rear set around 30k miles. Currently the car is at 50K miles. I think I'll have to replace them (All 4 tires) in couple of months.

I love Pilot Sports, but they are so expansive. I will either go with Pirelli or Falken for my next set of tires.

BFG G-Force KDW's. Great price, great dry & wet traction, great hydroplane resistance, fantastic feel while cornering (stiff sidewalls), sound like Monster Mudder 4x4 tires while riding down the highway.

Here are my 2 choices:

Michelin Pilot Primacy - 450$ (cost of 4)
http://www.michelin.co.uk/uk/front/a...0-0/0&retour=1

Bridgestone GIII - 400$ (cost of 4)
http://www.bridgestone.com.au/tyres/...reads/gIII.asp

I tend to drive the car hard...

if you drive the car hard, then both tires aren't for you... those are just all season tires. and, the tire size you have really isn't conducive to driving it hard, you should upgrade to 17's at least.

I too need winter tires every winter. I have had Nokian tires before but currently have Kumho winter tires. I have been very inpressed with their snow and ice ability. They are also quiet and run well on dry pavement. Mileage wear so far seems to be pretty good.

Eagle F1 GS-D3

I replaced the Pilot Sports that still had about 3~4mm of tread left on each tire.

The PSports were noisy and terrible in the wet (they're pretty well worn I guess).

The Goodyears solved the problem... the car now rides more like a Mercedes should.

Ditto on the Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3

Quiet, sticky, very good in the wet and the best looking tread pattern of any performance tire

Mercedes GLK 350 2012
I have one side question,
if I want to change all four,
can i use the same size,
not like factory, 225/45/17 front, 245/40/17 rear
can i use just 225/45/17 or I can't

I know Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3's isn't good for winter,
but can i still drive with those in winter,
i'm in NYC.
