Get better mileage
I recently purchased a 2003 C320 from a dealer lease return. The first thing I did was install K&N air cleaner and change oil and filter. I drove the car around town and got 15 to 16 miles/ gallon premium gas. Highway was 25 to 27 miles/ gallon.
The car had 36,600 miles. I also thought I would see better mileage.
I then added something I used to use in my 300 E 2.6 trade in. It's called Ventil Sauber (valve clean) then went on a 2100 mile trip. My gas mileage went up to an average of 29 miles to the gallon averaging 72 miles / hour. The highest I saw was driving from Flagstaff AZ. to Laughlin NV. averaging 74 miles / hour, and it was 31.5 / gallon.
I now have 42,000 miles on the car and get 17 to 19 in town and 27 to 29 highway.
Has anyone else tried this Valve Cleaner?
I bought it from Performance Products made by Lubro Moly.
Love this car!!!

i think thats the right gas mileage for a 3.2L V6. so street and highway combined it should be 20-23 MPG.

2005 C Wagon (No snickering please!)
I use the Lubro Moly products regularly. They perform very well, but the valve cleaner is not really needed unless you use less than premium gas, or conventional motor oils that contain wax or varnish. I would bet in your case, the former driver of a leased car might use regular gas to save a couple of bucks a tankful.
Lubro Moly also makes a crankcase cleaner that I use at every oil change. It removes combustion by-products that don't suspend in the oil easily. It also thins the oil a bit to make extraction through the dipstick easier.
If an engine has been neglected and the crankcase is covered in goop, Bilstein (same as the shocks) makes a machine that flushes the entire oil system with a heated solvent. For the fastidious it is worth the hundred bucks to have a sparkling clean bottom end.
