not doing the CL grill and flat emblem though...i like the star and also for shows and stuff i cover the car at night with a cover supplied by my dealership...and with no star...there would be nothing to fill the reservior tip at the end

makes your daughter horny
I saw a guy who replaced the stock plastic piece with mesh like this on his stock CLK front bumper and it looked hot..
Does anyone know where I could pick up some mesh like this in socal? Maybe home depot?

i picked up a package of cable tie brackets from home depot....the ones with a flat base and a slot through which you can put a zip tie. These brackets come with double-sided tape adhered to them, but i don't trust the tape under a car given the temperature ramps and all of the drit and crap. I used some adhesive remover to take the tape off, and adhered the brackets to the inside of the bumper with epoxy. You can see that the mesh was shaped such that it fits around the opening on the inside the bumper. There are about a dozen of those brackets epoxied to the bumper. I used zip yies to secure the mesh. Viola! Very secure and 100% removable
