Looks like it won't be a straight bolt on though, I'll have to cut my exhaust, fit this in and lock it down. Can you comment on this raklert - you baller .

ANYWAY, the Kleemann exhaust system is a straight through design on the can - with just baffle surrounds before going out the trapezoid. You could say this exhaust muffler is perfect... even for other FI adventures!

flip
Can't wait to have it on the car!

Guys, I ordered straight from Kleemann DK, paid for the whole exterior package it was 2,400 Euro includes Tm5 18*10 rims bidy kit and exhuaust. I am not sure how much the exhaust alone cost but it should be less than a grand in the US because of custom tax is lower on car parts. go to Kleemann site and email to Mr. Reckert Ulrich he will help you out with your direct order. Please tell him that Raklert from Bangkok recommended.

All I can comment to those of you who are getting this piece is that this exhasut rock . The performance gain is noticable right away (if you can live with the noise, eventually you will get use to it ) The installation is not exactly bolt on. You gotta weld it to the stock piping. The kleemann is also slightly bigger than the stock with a little over 2.5" piping.

oh BTW here is some pic on my new sound system

Thanks Rlee02135 for the new signature pics looks pretty cool hehe.

Mig888 about the cam. What engine are you using? Shrick only offer n exhaust side for M111K the lift on my cam is 265. I did it along with head porting so i cant really tell which is which. But th car pull harder after 3500rpm it felt like a turbo car, thats the best way to describe it. Defintily worth the money and install took like 3 hour. Spring valve and retainer remain stock. According to Schrick there is no need to upgrade them when the engine redline is only 6000rpm.

I had the same problem on my Audi. The custom set up I created freed a lot of horsepower but in the end, was a main reason why I sold it. Too loud.

I didn't even realize you had upgraded cams until I read your signature! I couldn't even tell you had cams in the exhaust clip. Usually, you can hear the wooring sound at idle, but from listening to your clip, I'd think you just had headers and exhaust! That's so awesome. I'd like to see what upgraded cams would do to the m271.

Umm, the header is custom made by a muffler shop in Bangkok. Credit goes to 3PointedStars for designing the header using Super Sprint's SLK M111 4/2/1design. All stainless steel and cost around USD350 to fabricate.
3PointedStar's C200K got 6 more hp and peak gain of 15hp after 5500rpm on dyno.

Drex....May be because the cam's lift is not very agressive, and I only got the exhaust side. I dont think Schrick nor Kleemann have cams for M271. There must be a reason for this....
