Congrats on your new car. It ran me about $430 with tax which I was happy about. They quoted $480+ tax in the morning when I dropped it off. I was under the impression that they charged a flat rate for service, but they don't they charge labor by the hour and then whatever parts (oil, wiper blades, etc.) They charged me 2.8 hrs of labor and then about $90 for parts. I think that 2.8 hrs seems excessive, but I called around and this was the going rate for a B Service. A Service will follow (they alternate) and this is a little under $300. At least its only once every year or 13,000 miles whichever comes first.

Np, enjoy the car. It's too bad Mercedes did away with the maintenance commitment, but its worth the cost to enjoy the Benz!
