Need new tires, should I let the dealer put them on?
I can save $200 if I take my 2003 C230 to one of the regional tire stores and have them mount and balance my new tires. Is there any reason to take it to my Mercedes dealer and have them do it? I just worry about the "balancing" issue.

$200. WTF. There is no way unless you buy the tires from the dealer as well. Buy your tires from one of our sponsors. They can recommend a good place and will most likely even ship them there. I had mine shipped to the dealer and paid the extra $10 because they had the latest balancing machine and the other shop I know from experience. Case closed.
