Bi-level Xenon's installed on my C320

slkboy, Thanks for the reply. Again, I know you don't have those autoleveling plug.
But then after you installed the bi-xenon lights, how can you adjust the level of the beam to a right position (I mean manually). Is it easy to make those adjustment of the light to a right position?

the manual leveling on the bi-xenons is the same....it has the manual adjustments.
per steve to go from halogen to bi-xenon and add the self leveling is a ton of work...NOT WORTH IT...bi-xenons work fine without it.

Update: Went to the dealer again, and this time spoke with the service manager (who also helped me talk to MB Corp when my SLK had repeated problems), and it took him about 10 min to have it set to Xenon Present. All is good. I just have to adjust the height now (which can be done manually, just like the regular headlights). I am very happy.
Oh, thanks to Young for providing those screenshots (i think that's who provided them)...this really helped them because I don't think they knew where the menu option was! It really made a big difference...thanks!!

I did NOT take off the bumper - you can loosen up one side at a time to install the new headlights.
Mine work fine - turn them on 10-15 secs before starting the car and they stay on with no error msg.
Car is at the dealer as we speak to change:
XENON "PRESENT"
Speed sensitive volume to 3db's
alarm to NORWAY settings
remove NO PHONE msg
fix the radio !
I manually adjusted the xenon's and they are beautiful:
dang it...I left my CD with the pics on it at home !!!
will post pics tomorrow !

Bagwell,
The new lights look great - have been considering getting them myself. Were they difficult to install and adjust? Which dealer did you take your car to, to have the Xenon setting changed? Thanks for the info.
P.S. - I bought my C from MB Houston North.

TXTiger - I had 3 people help me - ME MYSELF AND I - my wife just came out and looked at me and shook her head..hehhehe
Its not that hard....my advice is to buy a few like 10 of the little plastic trim lock things...that way you can just take them off and not worry about them if they break. These are what holds the black plastic fender lining under the fender. They can be salvaged if you're really careful but thats a pain.
Yep MB of North Houston - 1960/45 - car is still there waiting to be picked up by me !
Paul Harrison is my svc advisor - you'll need the printouts to show them how to change the settings (I have those if you need)
