I'm thinking of parting my car out and trading in or selling as is. Can anyone give me insite on what i might receive doing either. This is what my car has

Damn i think that's it for now but i'm probably forgetting a thing or 2, i have and idea of what i can get but i'm just trying to get peoples opinion on what they think it's worth. i'm not selling or parting yet i just wanted feedback on worth. you'll be much better off parting off the car. those mods won't add much value to the car, and will probably lower its value

 

I agree, part out as much as you can. whatever is left on the car, leave it and sell it.

 

Mods dont add much value to a car. If you were to sell it with everything on it, I would say blue book plus 1k.

If you part it out, sell the parts at 60% of what you paid for them, then sell the car.

I did this on my 1999 Eclipse.

Ended up making almost all of my money back. $9k dollars in mods, got $6k back from parting it out. Sold the car at blue book for $12k. I was happy with that.

$16595 total in mods, then sell the car....maybe around $12000...depending on mileage

only problem with parting out is that you have to pay shipping and you have to remove the parts...which can be hard if you dont have the knowledge

definilty a bit optimistic...those prices are probably obtainable to the party patient enough to find the most motiviated buyer...to sell quick I am thinking maybe cut 30-40% off those numbers

I am guessing you are just clowning if you and he are friends.

The truth of the mater is that cars don't like to be modded. Fact of life. When you start heavily modding a car, it pisses the car off and you instantly lose reliability. That is just the way is it.

 

you shoulda gone to "Toyota of Orange"...'where we won't sell you a lemon, you mean I wouldn't have gotten a lemon...'

 

bruni speaks the truth here. Honestly it something EVERYONE must consider when buying a modded car, it is not going to be an easy road. Brembo pads are $$, 19" tires are $$, mainenance on a used car is $$
