Another Xenon question, auto-leveling related!
I think my xenons are broken after the dealer "fix" it!
I remember seeing the my factory xenon auto-leveling work as follows(the lights would aim down first and then adjsut up!)
What I am not sure of is that, does the light only do that after each start up when the lights are turned on? In another words, if the lights already "auto-level" once and then the lights are turn off then back on without shutting off the engine, will it auto-level again. Or does it only auto-level once per start up?
Fellow, C class owners that have xenons please help!

OK, I was pretty sure of the answer, but I just went and tried it in my garage. They only "move up" when you first start up. I turned the lights off for a minute or two and then back on. The beams stayed where they were when I shut them off. I think that initial move is a "coarse" adjustment. I was under the impression that they adjust as necessary while driving, but not sure. It would seem the car's movement while driving would vary and the adjustment made at start up may not be appropriate all the time...

I think the self-levelling system checks/recalibrates itself at startup, and then operates when in motion by keeping the beams level so as not to blind oncoming drivers.
