Anyone try the Valeo Wiper Blades???

I just bought a pair for my car on tirerack.com... 22" and 24" i heard a lot bout them they look like the ones on the newer german cars or later model W203's. I know a lot of german car companies use similar type of wipers now. I dk if the OEM ones are Valeo or not. The ones on my car right now suck and after two snow storms they have died.... now they are only an annoyance when turned on... Tirerack.com is offerin buy one get one free which i thought is kinda cool... came out to be 27 bucks with shipping they have this deal till dec 31st so hurry if you need wipers

anyone try the Valeo??? i think it'll be better because they wont freeze unlike the original wipers and i never liked winter blades just b/c they look weird and they flap on highway when your traveling at high speeds

i'm assuming the newer benz wipers are Valeo??? i might be wrong but the loaner cars seem to have similar wipers

The Valeo wiper its self looks identical to the stock wipers. I bought a set from tire rack a few weeks ago, but they didnt fit. The connection to the wiper arm was different. They ended up fitting the ML, so my mother got a set for free.

This is what I mean about the connectors.
I contacted Tirerack and they said

"The wiper for your vehicle require the O.E. style mounts. We just got
those blades in but they are quite a bit more price wise. This is what is needed:
VALEO22OETL2MBZ "

I picked up some wipers with arms from Auto Zone, don't laugh, and I used the fitting from my original wipers to fit the arm.

It worked. You may do the same.

I wish MB hadn't discontinued blade replacements in leu of buying the entire assembly. My dealer wants $70 for a pair of wiper and arm replacements. Ouch!

More profit is the reason. As for the new aero versions; someone on here posted a way to pop of the endcaps on those thereby allowing for a blade replacement without having to buy complete new ones.
