Four OEM C7 Wheels for sale

I have a set of four 17" C7 rims for sale. These are NOT REPLICAS, they are OEM rims. I had 225/45R17 tyres on them. They are not in perfect condition, and at least one of them has very visible scratches on the wheel. A wheel repair person can probably take care of it very easily.

These go for around $350 when I last checked, so here is a chance to get a nice upgrade for a good price, even if factoring in having cosmetic repairs done.

I would like $600 for the set of four rims. I will throw in a set of four brand new OEM chrome star center caps.

The wheels are imprinted with the following Mercedes-Benz part numbers:
B6 647 1511
A203 401 18 02

Size on the wheels are 7 1/2 Jx 17 H2 ET 37 (if that means something to you )

The center cap part number is
220 400 01 25

Please PM me for a high-res copy of the image below.

priced way too high IMO. these things are not worth much esp. with no rubber. you are basically selling them for $1,500 since the new owner would need new tires. no offense but you are better off keep them for your own use but who knows someone might buy them.

good luck.

Could someone explain to me why when he checked they went for $350 but with the cost of repairs he wants $600?

FYI Oem center caps = < $15 bucks

I'll try to explain so that you can understand. These rims go for $350 each at the dealer. I am selling a set of 4 for $600. Using my math, 4 x $350 = $1400. So $600 is less than half of what a new set at the dealer will cost.

No flame but add shipping cost, if necessary, definitely add refinishing/repair cost, and then consider that some dealers have been known to discount and you might want to rethink. Did you check what similar ones went for here on the forum and NOT on ebay? Advertising on a forum will usually bring less than ebay.

There are a couple of sets of these for $200.00-$250.00, pull offs I think at the tire store. I will sell them for $600.00 to you my friend, very good deal, almost free. I use mine for my snow tires.

You know, it's so funny that when anyone is trying to sell anything on this board, *everyone* suddenly has a source of the same thing for very cheap. None of the claims are ever substantiated, and when you try to actually follow up on these claims, it never pans out.

So please let me know where I can buy a set of four OEM C7 rims for "$200-$250", and I may be interested.

Just for your information kokketiel,

I bought my set of '05 stock wheels(5-spoke) for $700. Since your wheels are older, i think you should price them lower. This is just my opinion.

Peace

kokketiel - I know how you feel about everyone criticizing your price, but they are just giving you some good and honest advice. The people on this forum are the people who buy and sell these items; therefore, when people see a specific product being sold often here at the forum, whether it be AMG Wheels being sold often for $1K, then if someone comes and prices the rims at $2K, obviously people will comment on the price -- as to say, look, considering the history of that product that's not a good price.

Anyway, good luck with your sale. You never know, $600 may be a good deal to someone who doesn't have great sources. So just because a lot of guys here think it's expensive, given that they can find a better deal, doesn't mean that's the same to everyone.

Check with the SLK crowd, I think these wheels look best on the SLK230 and they mostly came with the same ugly brushed aluminum 16" wheel during their run. Here's ours.

The Miustang is the older daughter's and the SLK is my younger daughter's. The red truck through the SLK window is mine along with my pewter C230 SS and Suzuki motorcycle. My wife's car that you can't see is a solar yellow Jeep Wrangler. I say ours in the generic sense since we trade cars every now and then and I get the sole pleasure of maintaining them all.

personally i love the style of the C7 wheels my car came with them stock and i'm still rockin them right now and have winter tires mounted to them. They have a few nicks and scratches here and there but they are good wheels they are OEM and i use them for the winter. I'll have aftermarket 18's once spring roll in....

Didn't tick me, off, just stating the facts, who drives what in the family. Most trouble free car overall, Ford Mustang, 100K miles, no problems, just maintenance. SLK back in the shop, arghh, dealer told me last week that I needed $3,455 worth of work because of an oil leak and squeak in the parking brake they recently fixed. They are such scam artist, the oil drain plug leaks and they want to do a head gasket for $1,400. The parking brake squeaks and they want to replace pads on all 4 regular brakes that are close to new, change perfectly good shocks and perfectly good serpentine belts, another $2K. So I wasted a good morning steam cleaning the engine, going over the head gasket with an inspection mirror and again 3 days later and no head gasket leak. So it's back with the assistant service manager to fix what I originally complained about, maybe they'll get it right this time. That Mono, ticks me off..... On the other hand, the loaners have been a lot of fun. The C280 is very fast, almost too fast to hand over to a 16 year old for the day.

I guess that answers the question you had earlier since I live in Oregon. They had a few sets availible. They came off of cars that had upgrade wheel packages installed.

I got my for $420 and I thought it was a great deal. But even at $600 those are much stronger than other rims out there at the same price range.
