I don't think I'm gonna bring the M, Carlos already penciled me in for the C-Class and it's gonna be an all MB meet, so I'm gonna represent. (I just waxed the C this weekend and may wax it again before the meet, the wax and other stuff I ordered for the M still hasn't come in yet.)
What kind of wax is special to a Bimmer? Damn, I may have to get theat special wax.... The kind that comes when you rub on a Cuban virgin's thighs...

The Supersprint; I don't think I'll put it on yet. I have heard mixed results from putting on the free flow exhaust. I want to put a new Cat, header, Resonator and muffler on to see if that is true. Linh the origionator of a pulley for the 2.3L engine has seen examples where the was NO gain. If that is true I want to know so that I can get rid of all that crap.

You know me. Leave it stock and knock em out!

now that's the wax I want!

you know how I've been using NXT on the w203, well, NXT looks good right when you put it on, but it doesn't last for ****! so I ordered some Poorboy's Natty's Blue Paste Wax (the guys at M3forum recommended it). but, what I ordered and what'll hopefully make a huge difference is an in-line hose water softener...

as for the exhaust, damn! total sleeper. good ****, can't wait to see it, if you're with Jose and Drex this w/e let me know and I'll try to stop by.

You'll get it no problem.

As for the PCV valve. The outlet from the valve cover is larger yes, but then a hose goes over it, and it connects to the black baffle thing that goes over the S/C plenum. This black bit has specific turns and baffles in it that appear to WANT to trap the oil. In fact there is a very small black hose that goes from the black baffles back to the plenum to drain excess oil.
Hmm...Nyquil, Codeine, and some big green pills are combining to cloud my already fuzzy brain. Have to check this at home.

This hose however is only about 1/8th of an inch as oppossed to the 1/4 hoses that come from the valve cover and block. (Better pics to come when I get back to my car)
The larger one is the one that passes the gases. Valve should plug into that.

But I am wondering if the PCV valve is actually mounted underneath the S/C mount to the block. It is the only thing I can't see.
Only the germans could turn a 6 dollar part into a 500 dollar service job. I hope not.

But to get that S/C mount off means wrangling with the tensioner bearing and the alternator. Hey, call me lazy, but I'm doing the DIY, with nothing more than Rush on the CD player, and NO alcohol.
Oh my. I think you'd need the alcohol just to overcome the ribbing your friends will give you when they find you still cranking Rush J/K...

Outland no worries, I think I can figure out a vent system. While I was driving my little Ford Foci rental tonight I was thinking that possible I could pick up some extra horse from not putting Crankcase gas back into the intake.

E
Its a rental. Drive it like you stole it. Alright time to sign off. Its past 11 here, and tonite!, I will sleep! I hope...
