Driver seat stopped moving forward or backwards
HELP.........all other movements work, even memory seat works, but when it comes to moving the driver seat forward or backwards, it will not move. There is a clicking sound from the seat adjustment button on the door, and I can hear the relay kick in underneath the seat, but after a few seconds of NO movement, the relay clicks again that's it......no movement. Check the three fuses corresponding to the seats and they are fine.

No longer under warranty....otherwise I would've brought it in. Nothing stuck in the tracks. Memory will move everything (up/down, pivots, reclines, headrest) EXCEPT the horizontal forward/backwards.
Any other suggestions? I even swapped out the passenger's control box; but no go, completely different part number, even though plugs and box are identical.

I switched the driver controller for the passenger only after all other diagnosis failed. Cables are secured correctly.
Anything else? anyone? Jezzz, my toyota has less problems than this benz.....
