that one's not bad... looks kinda like Drex's, except he had his colormatched...

interesting...

the problem is, it looks like a replica grill just painted black. plus, it's a pre-05 non-facelift grill with more slats in it. I love how they use Frank's car to show it though...

my extra oem '05 grill painted cost less than that though

also, it was discussed on e46 that its better to buy an oem product and have it painted than to get an aftermarket product pre painted...oem fits like oem and aftermarket fits like aftermarket

i dunno, but i actually like the pre facelifted grilles with extra slat...i had a carbon look one and it made my grille look thicker and the front looked a little beefier, but thas jus me.

I'm bumping this old thread to show off a new cleaning thing and something old that I have too...

I just picked up a "spray 'n wash" nozzle from Brookstone yesterday and it's great!

Here it is with my in-line water softener:

In use on the M3:

On the w203:

I still run through the car with my sheepskin wash mitt and dry it with the California Water Blade and microfiber towels, but the new nozzle is great. Not as expensive as a foam gun, but just as good results.

Here's the finished result:
