2007 C230 loaner
I got a loaner vehicle today, a Mars Red C230, automatic transmission...with only 800 miles on the odometer!
This is the first chance I've had at driving the V6. It definitely is slower than my 2005. I also noticed that the steering is much lighter. I can steer with one hand like I'm rolling around in an amerikanischer strassenkreuzer. The suspension also seems softer than my 2005.

Yeah I also had a 2007 loaner car this week. I have a 2003 C230 and it feels like it doesnt even have power steering compared to the 2007. What the hell is up with that?

Some of the 06 C230s and pretty much all the 07 C230s have the new "variable steering system". It's a different steering system that is not as firm. There were some people who had acquired an 05 that were complaining that the steering was too heavy.
