Boost guage?

I know this sounds, well, ricey, but is there any way to install a guage that displays the supercharger boost pressure? As a follow-up question, has anybody tried installing air/fuel ratio, oil/fuel pressure, or any other guages in their cars?

Before going into technicals, I know that there is no way to really tune the performance of the car by it, you'll just get a bunch of numbers out, but I think it would be a pretty interesting addition to the car.

www.greddy.com , Products -> Electronics -> Electronic Guages, just in case you were wondering what I was talking about.

Preyx,
Take a look at this SITE It's an AMG SLK32 with a boost gauge pod installed in the A pillar. Very classy and well placed. The site is detailed and well illustrated with step by step instructions. Hope this helps.

I saw that in person; very nice install. Good write-up, too. Though, it would have been much easier to look around, and buy a gauge other than HKS that would have fitted without the mod, like an Autometer, Greddy, or Blitz.

As you said, no real benefit to stock cars, but for one with a pulley and/or other mods, at least an a/f gauge would be helpful, I'd think. Besides, they're just fun to watch go back and forth, like an Xmas tree.

I've got Autometer gauges in my crx; they'd match up a little better with the interior of the slk, as you can get 'em with the red needle and a white face.

Careful, though. Adding on gauges increases your chance of a break-in dramatically.
