Its not working for me. Makes the grille look too tall...perhaps if hadn't kryloned the top chrome bar it would look a little better. I think you need the chrome reeds accross the bars with the black. And starless grilles are just plane ugly. That big star is one of best parts of the car.

Go with an 05 and up Evolution grille, and paint it that smokey grey color the SLK32 used. I think that would be awesome.
