Rain Guards for C240????
Hey what's up I'm new on here. Is there anywhere I could find rain guards for the C240? I can't seem to find any. My C is Brilliant silver so I'd want them silver or chrome. Thanks.

I know I'll get ridiculed for putting them on but in my climate here (where it is winter for half the year) it is needed or you have icebergs hanging from the rocker pannels and back fenders.
I picked up the ones at the dealer (they are made specifically for the car) and they were fairly reasonable in cost ($100 for 4 and cheaper than the ones Honda or VW sell for their cars) not too mention a breeze to put on...they took about less than an hour to put on all four. You do need to remove the wheels.
They actually look ok and really blend in with the tires and if you have a dark coloured car you hardly see them.
The way I see it, it saves the paint, saves my pant legs on my suits as I get out of the car and people behind me probably like it as they don't get shot with stones from my rear tires.
It seems that only in America that they are not included, as most of Europe they are standard fare on the cars.
Though I have no idea what rain guards are

I'm north of Boston, I hated to go out today, but I had an appointment, but I saw first hand huge chunks of snow buildup where the mudflaps would be. The way its snowing and sleeting right now, I'm not sure the mudflaps would help. I would think the snow would stick to them too. However the mudflaps look good on your car.

fyi,
the mudflaps for the C-Sedan sold at the dealership will only fit non-AMG bumbers (aka 2004.5 C320/230/240 Sedans and older).

Re: mud flaps
I know for the masses on this forum hate them and will ridicule me for putting them on, but unfortunately for some of us that live in a winter country they are necessary, my pant legs on my suit does not get soiled getting out with salt stains or slush, it does keeps the car cleaner. and when I drive into ski country all the sand and stones flying off the wheels don't sand blast the paint. For those in a sunny and warm climate they are not necessary. They are specifically made for the body style and fit the contours of the car. After having them for the past 3 months I don't even notice them on.
A couple of you asked for some pictures:

I was actually thinking of getting mud flaps, in some cars it looks good, but for some reason with the C-Class it doesn't seem regular; I've seen once briefly with them and I didn't have enough time to assess my opinion.
Thanks Boom vang for posting some pictures. Do you have some clear/clean pics of them (like on a sunny day); with the whole car shown. I just want to see how the car's profile looks with them.
