NEW Oil Free High Flow Air Filter

I though this might be a good thread to post after reading about how the oil filters mess up the MAF. I contacted the company to find out about the M271 engine. They said in about 3 months the will have one for our application. I asked them if they dynoed there products, they answerd no. We will just have to wait and see how god this one is. If there are any pros it would be no oil messing up the MAF. Just how much better than OEM well I guess we will find out in time.

They currently stock a filter for my Jeep Wrangelr and my Ford Explorer Sport Trac. I will be odering those soon to see how good they really are. Three months of waiting for the M271 is just to much for me. I want to see first hand how these filter are made and how they perform.

I am curious to see what anyone else thinks?

Never heard of this filter before, but will look for some reviews on this one. It possibly could be the one to go with. Will see...

I think the concept is better than the oiled filters but 15 more hp and 23 lb more of torque from changing filter types is I don't know why people think changing the type of filters/plugs/oil/air fresheners is going to give them more power.

Dude are you kidding? My all-weather floor mats make my care at least 0.2 seconds quicker 0-60!!

As long as they perform as well as the K&N fiters than I'll probably get a set. I hate having to reoil my K&N. I dont want to over oil them and end up needing a new MAF

2005 C Wagon (No snickering please!)
If the horsepower and torque gains touted by this "new" filter were possible don't you think the car makers would be all over it? Would Mann and Fram ignore the "technology" if it was so wonderful?

I think I'll take a pass.
