Noisy suspension over bumps when cold outside
It has been fairly cold in Toronto over the past 3 weeks and notice that the car is noisy going over bumps in the road. The best way I can describe it is that it feels like there is something loose in the front suspension, like a blown shock or a worn out ball joint. The car has only 26,000mi and recently had its safety done for change of ownership to me by a MB dealership so I am sure they would have found something.
I don't hear the sound from outside when I drive with the window down, you hear in from inside the car window up
Is the clunking sound usual for this car when going over frost heaves when it is cold outside? I would have thought that the suspension noise would be a bit better isolated.

I have the same noise on my car. Started last winter, they changed a bunch of suspension parts under warranty, but then the weather got warmer and it went away. Now that winter is here again, the noise is back below freezing point. I PM'd you, may be a good idea to approach the dealer together since I too live in Toronto.

its the bushing when it gets cold out or it gets a little sqeaky but when its warm you wont hear anything best thing to do is jack up the car and lube it up or just tell the dealer to replace the bushing it might not have anymore grease packed in there....
