Steve,
Those mods are on my list for months. They are nice !!
I was told that the auto-folding and the passive tyre pressure monitor feature required a new front SAM. It seems you already had them before replace the new SAM.
Please let us know the new SAM part number you are going to install. Follow my search the latest version is A203 545 42 01. I also would like to know what are new tricks come with it.
Did you order it from Sunman ? If so then I will order it from him

The auto folding mirrors are cool, I'd like to eventually get that - the Distronic, would that work with a stick shift?? And the heating (and I think cooling(?) system) is also pretty cool, but not on my current list.

Wow, there's so much to do.... I thought after the AMG exterior upgrades I was done.

The passive tire pressure system worked on my 2004 with my old SAM 209 545 11 01 version HW 4802 SW 4802. We switched to the newest version and picked up the folding mirrors when the the car is locked. And it will aid in future software upgrades. The Distronic will work with the stick I'm sure. I sent the headrests off with Sunman to have the monitors installed, and he programed video in motion. He fixed a glitch in the headlight leveling system we added, and played with another costomers car. In two weeks we will be installing the monitors and I hope to get a remote for my command, and what ever I can think of between now and then.

C230 Sport Coup + 2006 W164 ML350 + 99 Ford Escort (What the heck, it gets 38 mpg!)
Very cool stuff, or rather very HOT stuff

If I lived in a cold climate, that would be so awesome.
Not even have go outside to start the car.

I was in Ohio working for NCR long ago in winter...
they had these Chrysler K cars we could drive with plastic
upholstery....sooooooo cooooollldddd......and I lived in Jersey for 7 years.
I know it sounds corny, but yeh I did walk a mile in the snow to the school bus. I hate cold. Global warming? About freakin' time.

Hell we beetch if the weather goes below 50 in Cali.

New features of front SAM

1. Cornering Fog Lamps
2. Autofolding mirrors upon locking provided Door modules and IC support it as well.

I installed Russell's front SAM but if you have been talking to Steve, I suggest you go ahead and order it from him. He will get you the correct part number.
