on your calipers, the surface is rough. paint doesn't show up well on them.
on my C230 (which had the same calipers as you), i painted them black.
anything else will show the rough surface better.
unless you grind/polish them down like this:

very easy. i recommend the G2 kit from performanceproducts.com
basically, you clean the calipers, mix the paint and epoxy hardener and brush it on.
mix half at a time as it doesn't last too long once it's mixed.

I think they'd look better with some kind of decals on the calipers. If you can't get Stoptech decals, at least the white Mercedes Benz decals from www.xenonmods.com should look good.
