Brake warning light
my light for brakes just came on today on my way home just wanted to know how many more miles do i still have before metal contact so busy at work and work on weekend not able to change till next thursday

generally if you just saw the light come on, you still have about 10-15% of the brake pad remaining unless there are some severe wear issues. Grab a flashlight and check your brake pads just to be sure. Also, you may or may not be able to get a good angle to see the rear brake pads unless you jack up the vehicle.
