01 c240 IPOd set up, Need help.
Okay we jsut got my wife an 01 c240, really nice, and what not, but i want to do that IPOD becuase im sure you all know how these women are glued to their pods, almost as much as their cell phones. My question is, do the 01's have that aux input near the dash like the new models, I havent done this conversion on my car, so i dont want to go pulling panel and it not even be there, any help would be great, thanks guys.

Nope, it doesn't.
But you can install one. Search the forum for the AUX Part Number, it was mentioned -- or look for DIY threads about installing the Comand (Navigation); they usually combine installing the AUX cord with it, it seems somewhat easy, you might be able to do it yourself.

No, your car does not have an AUX unless it is behind the headunit (which I highly doubt). Your best bet is to either upgrade to a MCS unit (It has an AUX) or use a FM Transmitter. You will not be able to get the steering wheel function like the 05-07 models.
