Need servicing on my 2002 C240 in San Diego, CA. Any recommendations?
My car keeps on saying my back tail light is broken and it is using a substitute tail light. I checked the lights but they all seem to be okay.

I know if I bring it into the dealer they are going to charge an arm and a leg again. Anyone here from San Diego? Where are you guys getting your mercedes serviced?

Is the dealer better than the independent servicing stations? Any recommendations?

Rudi's Autohaus Stuttgart is an awesome Mercedes shop. I've had very good experience there with a C320 and 560SEC

If you're out of warranty an independent will usually be cheaper.

If you plan on sticking with a dealership you should give Ryan Frausel a call at MB of SD. The rest of the SD guys in our group are currently going through him and we've had nothing but great service. Just let him know you're from MBWorld and that Ling sent you.

I recommend Ryan at MBSD as well.

For older 1980s-1990s MB's... AUGUST EUROPEAN in Mira Mesa is a certified BOSCH Servicer and expert in both MB & BMW German engineering.
