tell me about it... but mine is different than there's even stock.. that advantgrade or whatever... I dont see anyone owning that besides.. well me... dunno why... but yea I am the onoly on ehtat got these advan... rims... pics will come later... you know it's 9:05 right now... and it's freezing, not gonna walk out to take pictures in the dark And you know what sucks, the C280 this year comes in 3 colors, silver, diamond black and pewter silver...
I want that royal blue color... but I chose diamond black - with a little blue tint...
Is it hard to keep a car clean here or what? how do you guys keep your car clean (yes washing is obvious... what else) I wax as well... but so does everyone else.. the car still looks like ^%$# after I come back from UBC...

I still have not seen a blue w203 yet. Perhaps that will be my next color.
I usually do a quick spray wash the first sunny day, after it rained for a week. If I know its gonna be sunny for a week, I hand wash it. Always try to keep the dirt from caking on.

I dont like installing things on my car, I like it stock
I really like the 05 + grille, which I have on this car stock. Only thing I really want is tinted glass, which I am not doing until next month cuz I need to display my N sign. No I havent gotten it off yet, and yes my N is about to expire but I am busy/lazy with school.
I have been washing my car 2x a week so far... but then again the car is new so I might be obssessed with it right now. But it definitely is an improvement form the old C240 I had (pewter silver, stock everything 2003)

my bad, I was using msn language. In Canada, they have a C280 campaign at this moment, and it's called the C280 Advantgarde. It basically offers you a lot of extras for free. So you pay the base price for the car with all the add ons (which includes memory seats, heated seats, automatic tilt down side mirror, sun roof, 17'' aluminum wheels, sport suspension, automatic steering wheel, 60/40 split seats and some other things). Drawback is that we only get 3 colors to choose from, silver, pewter silver, and diamond black.
I personally prefer blue, but they only have those 3 colors, so I chose black.
And, this car is a bit different than the other ones because of the rims, and the blue tinted glass on the C280.

I also find it imposible to keep the car clean. I have to wash it at least once a week, and if it rains I can kiss that wash job goodbye.
You guys have to do yor N tests... trust me, its reeeally easy. I got rid of mine when I was 19 (I'm 21 now). Whenever I see an N on a really nice car it saddens me. It sux ICBC makes us ugly our cars with these signs.

There's alot of shops around local, just an heads up. Most of the shops carry alot of stuff and does alot of top notch customs.
REV is a good place to visit but certainly not the best out there.

Sorry to be ignorant but where IS REV. REVScene, the website I know... but REV? Where is that located? I want to get some Xenons going in my car...

Oh I know what you mean, enabling it at the dealer...
should I do that before I change in the xenons or after?
And does it work without making it present? what happens if I don't go to the dealer... (dont really have time)

if you dont have time i suggest you wait till you do. this is an expensive mod that takes time so you dont want to mess it up. install is one thing but getting a dealer to set this is another. you might be lucky to find a service advisor that doesnt mind doing it but it took me more phone calls and pleading that i thought it would when i had this done a while back.

Should have just gone to Burnaby, mine was done no questions asked. Well actually, my service adviser did as me if I was installing a xenon kit and i said yes, and he said OK, NP.

what do you guys think about that? Scam? It says something about no computer error msg and all that?

It'll void your electrical (headlight) warranty. If it screws up your radio you might be able to argue your way out, though many dealers aren't so nice.
OEM HIDs draw less power than their halogen counterparts, so the car thinks the bulb is cooked and signals a "light out" error. Aftermarket ones usually have some kind of load equalizer (ie a big resistor) or something else to burn up some energy so the car still thinks there are halogens plugged in, and therefore no error.
OEM is the way to go imo. Soooo sexy.

well, I foned a friend of mine who works at the Richmond MB, and he says that just uninstall it if anything fails and they usually don't know anything has been done...
