C230 Sport Coup + 2006 W164 ML350 + 99 Ford Escort (What the heck, it gets 38 mpg!)
The stock suspension in 2002 makes the car feel like a wallowing mass of whale blubber. New springs and sways, its close to a BMW in handling.
I'd say my car handles as well as any BMW now, but that took some $$$
with the adjustable dampeners, and offset wheels.
A K&N or any other oil based "performance" air filter will provide NO performance gain, and WILL mess up your car.
Buellwinkle proved this many years ago.
NO performance gains, a waste of money.
With a pulley the ITG provided 2 HP, but only with the pulley.
The ITG clogged up the inside of my piping and intercooler,
caused valves to get stuck closed, and I went through 2 MAF's.
Thankfully under warranty. I run stock filters.
I heard recently of a dry filter that might provide better flow, but at 60 bucks and nothing to back it up...junk.
Save your money for a pulley.
Or even just the sway bars.
Just start with the C32 sway bars. You can't go wrong.
about 150-200, and you can install yourself easily.

But given that I have a thread about dealing with sunroofs, perhaps you would be wise to take your own advice (STFU) and STF!
Don't be witty, just read and try to learn.

i searched the forums and only found a pic of the carbon hood but not where to get one so thats why i posted this. also about the part number they printed a sheet out and as soon as i find it ill post it up
heres the damage i trapped up the headlight just to keep it from fogging and not falling off till i get the new headlights.
i was going to get headers and some exhaust work but now i need headlight and hood. why would i buy them for 3200 plus tax if i can get them somewhere else but cheaper.

Coupe Bi-Xenon are very hard to come by and Steve may not have any.
Here are the coupe part numbers for whoever asked.
203 820 57 61 – Left side Bi-xenon
203 820 58 61 – Right side Bi-xenon
OEM parts direct sells them for $1287.40 per side.

Valex, I'm not a D*ck, just someone who wants to help.
PM, or ask here if you want the companies contact info.

How about ecu chipping? I found that Speedtuning USA offers one. Does anyone else know of an alternate or better provider? I too have been looking for simple mods to my c230.
Also, what's it take to install one of those ECU chips in a MB?

hey valex... i might have an extra pair of foggy headlights that i can let go of in the next month... i can also include slightly used 6000k xenons from carlabs that dont need programming (i still have the original box and instructions). PM me if you're interested, drop me an offer and maybe we can work something out.
