Vancouver Paint shop

Hey guys...

I am seriously in need of a paint job for my car.... Some idiot backed into my bumper.. How much am I looking for here, and for how much? To paint a bumper?

When I thought this world cannot be bad enough something happens. Can someone in Vancouver/Richmond advise me about the paint shop locations, for how much for a FRONT BUMPER?

Please give me contact!!

Your better off claiming it as a hit and run, pay the deductable, and get MB collision in Richmond to factory paint it. It's a benz, do it right.

One of the best bodyshop out there that does great paint jobs. They painted my rear bumper, even repaired the chrome stripe on it and its as good as new now. I highly recommend it.

I believe Super Euro Auto, and Burrard Autostrasse are the two main shops MB Broadway recommended. Depending on the paint colour, the price should be around $700 for them to take the bumper off, sand it, and repaint. That was what I was quoted at.

Super Euro Auto Ltd.
8 W 8th Ave, Vancouver
604-875-8031

Burrard Autostrasse Collision
2185 Pine St, Vancouver

Korva also comes recommended by the guys from the Vancouver Euros forum.

Korva World Class Collision
231 W 2nd Ave, Vancouver

i had my front bumper painted at AK Autoworks last summer and they did a good job. cost me $300 cash. the problem was their service. it sucked! but the paint job was good. they also messed up the bumper when they put it back on, it wasnt placed back on properly so there was a significant gap btw my head lamp and bumper. i think i could have avoided this if i was a lot more picky. but they refused to fix it so i had someone do it for me.

if you want to save money and want a nice paint job go to AK and ask for Andy and no one else. be extra picky and let them know you mean business.

if money isnt an issue korva is the way to go. my car is at burrard autostrasse and they are just as good if not better but they are expensive and really backed up.

good luck.

Went to ICBC claim centre, got it checked out, concluded as hit and run, have to pay 500 bucks detuctible.

Not only the bumper is scraped, the metal actually bented. Gonna head to one of the shops you guys suggested and see what they can do.

Thanks guys for your information

You might want to check out Mercedes Collision in Richmond. Its just off of Bridgeport and my car is there right now getting the front bumper repainted, and the trunk, rear taillight, and other damage on the back repaired/replaced. So far they seem very professional and I think they will do good work. They even arranged my rental car and had the rental agency pick me up at their shop. Mine is an ICBC claim, but they previously quoted me $650 to repaint the front bumper, including one new impact strip.

Years ago my rx7 deductible was $100 with ICBC. At age 22 I paid a whopping $ 800 canadian for to insure a twin turbo rx7 with with a $1million's worth of coverage. Bet you can't get that anymore.

Your deductible is based on your insurance premiums. The more you pay the less your deductible will be. I think mine is set at $600. I figure anything over $1k I will have my insurance cover and anything under I will not claim.
