Goodyear Eagle GS-D3's and Toyo T1-R's are pretty much the most popular choice.

Pirelli's have gone downhill and aren't the top notch tire they used to be, especially for the price.

have add a +1 to the General Tire UHPs. Course I don't do any hard driving...but when I do, they have never let me down. Best bang for the buck IMO. $138+shipping at tirerack.

General UHP's are the best bang for the buck, I recently got a set and I love them. Other than the price, the ratings on them are good as well.

I'm at about 20,000 plus on my General UHP's, lots of freeway mile though. I'm using 265/30/19 in the rear and 235/35/19 front.

A lot of the Porsche guys run the Kumho's so I think you will be fine. I still say the Generals are a great tire period and the fact that there price is so good makes them that much better. Just check the feed back on Tire Racks sight. I couldn't find one bad remark. On cars from 745i's to VW everyone loves them. I might try the Kumho's on the Porsche next.

falken isnt bad and is cheaper. it can stretch more than toyo tires! so put a 245 tire or even 235 in the rear.

..
Another vouch for Toyo T1R's. Great looking tread and long lasting. I've had mine for 11k miles and still plenty of tread left. Sidewalls are also "dumped" friendly.
