Wheel Repair?

Hey, I took my car into Discount Tire and they scratched one of my wheels. They offered to repair it since it really isn't very bad....hardly noticeable (but, the way I see it, I better be the only one fu*king up my car). Has anyone ever repaired a scratched wheel? They said something about repainting it and a new clear coat. I just don't want the crap to start chipping next week....I think I'd rather keep it the way it is.

I'd appreciate any help you can offer.

I would recommend getting it repaired. I had a small nick repaired and it looks good..although the clear coat seems a little funky at times, especially when it gets hot. I am not sure why. But, repairing it now night save you problems down the line...the scratch may start to expand if the edges start to peel away. Or you can do a quick fix and put some clear nail polish on it.
