Where do I find information on "moleskin", related to window tinting
All,
I know the window tinting problem is an interesting topic for the W203, and many people have posted information about this.
I have searched through this forum for window tinting related problems, and see a reference to "moleskin" quite often.
Problem is, the major window tinting businesses in Australia that I have contacted are not aware of such a product.
Both the dealer, and the tinting companies have warned me of the scratching problem, but this moleskin appears to solve the problem.
Can someone please post some information of who makes the moleskin product, and possibly some website details so that I am able to contact them?
It'd be great if someone else lurking in Australia has details for an Australian distributor....

What they call moleskin is a short nap velvet or felt kinda like the soft side of velcro. Basically my tinter removed the door panel and there's a strip across the top that acts as a seal between the window and door panel. Just below that and part of the same piece of plastic, there's a ribbed strip that's about 3cm tall and the width of the window that they sanded smooth and glued the moleskin to. Probably if you go to a fabric store they can help you as they make clothing out of moleskin.
