Crack Shaft Leakage After Installing ASP Pulley
I looked at my Kleemann and noticed that it is rubbing also. I am going to take a closer look at the belt tomorrow to see how bad it is. It kind of looks like it has already worn as much as it is going to, just a little bit off the end, and only through the top layer, so the full width is still in contact with the pulley. It didn't look frayed at all.
Anyone know if this is okay, as long as it doesn't wear anymore?
Maybe I should get this new ASP pulley instead.
I will trade the <1hp reduction in gain for a bigger pulley clearance.
I did get them to give me a parts warranty even though I installed it myself since I had it done with help of an MB tech.
Or maybe I can just get a thinner belt? What do you think?

i am waiting for hte new spec pully. He told me that it wont be all black. Part alum and part black
This is all Buellwinkle fault !!! He wanted a pulley that is bigger then any other pulley out there and so that's what happen why the belt rubbed. I talk to Lee at ASP about this three days ago concerned of the problem. So he's going to make the C coupe pulley a little smaller. But the 98-99 pulley will not have this problem because the factory pulley is already a little smaller then the C coupe factory pulley.

BTW, 8,000 miles and it never leaked 1 drop of oil and I've had it on and off a few times.

Return the pulley to ASP, some where made where the hub surface was not polished perfectly and that caused a small leak, Lee promised to quality check each one personally because of this. They will replace it with the newly design stainless steel hub and you'll be better off anyway.
