error message; break wear see local workshop
message just poped up onto my display telling me break wear see local workshop..
does that mean i need new break pads? should i send my car into the stealership and have them rip a arm n leg off of me

You should do it asap so you don't need rotors also. I would do it myself however if I was you. Very easy. Damn near don't even have to take the rims off. Its as simple as pulling a pin and throwing the other ones on.

That sounds fine with me...With my driving style my brakes will probably wear a little quicker than normal, so I wont be as discouraged as I thought I would be when I eventually get the message.
