Nitto lose grip easily , not sure why its so expensive

 

Some of the ordinary Nitto street tires are just so-so but the NT-01s are R compound racing tires with a DOT street legal tread design.

I'm using another Nitto R compound tire on my car, the NT555R2. Same rubber as the NT-01 but different carcass and tread design. It has tremendous grip.

Discount Tire Direct carries 235/45R17s for $163 per tire so $100 is a pretty decent deal.

 

Those Nitto's will only last for about 10-12k miles under normal conditions. Any aggressive driving will exponentially shorten that tread life.
