Need some advice please!

So, most likely I'm gonna be leasing the C230 for myself (latest one 07'), but what I wanted to know was, when do you think I might get the best lease deals for it, this month of May (as through their site they say special offering through may 31st) or in June? Are they not gonna have any more special offers after May 31st??

Also, how big of a price difference in the lease would it be from the C230 and C350 (sport or luxury)?

And another thing ... I can't believe the C230 is worse than a Jetta at 0-60 speed

Why? The 230 is not a performance car by any means. They offer all those other engines if you want more performance.

My best guess is that the lease specials should continue until all of the 2007 models are sold because there is a new body style coming out in August. MB stopped taking orders for the 07 a month ago. If you are looking for specific options, you might have a hard time finding one exactly how you want it.

If you are looking for a fast car, the C230 is not the car for you. If you are looking for performance, get the C350.

The lease special right now is $299 a month on the C230 with about $3800 down. You will have to call your local dealer to see how much the lease is on a C350.

I doubt that prices will get much cheaper than they are now. I've heard that$500-1000 over invoice is what 07 C230's are going for. The longer you wait, the less choices you will have with car color and options.

In California, it's about $500-$1000 "under" invoice !

easy !
every Benz I've bought I've always gotten way below invoice.
$34K sticker price on both C320's
walked out the door at $27k for one, $29k for the other.

caveat: i BUY , never LEASE

The 07 C350's have a whopping $4,000 dealer incentive. You should get that plus the 3% holdback subtracted from invoice, putting you about $ 5,000 below invoice. So Cal only. If you're in Canton, Ohio, it might pay to visit Disneyland.

Performance is not the issue here, I could care less.

It's the fact that I need a car ASAP, and I've been considering going after a C230 (instead of a Civic or Jetta, only 100 more per month as I hear...) cause I heard it has special offers now, so that's why I'm asking if now's the time to go for it.
