besides punctuation, here's the translation of the above jibberish:
spent = spend
cant = can't
different = difference
spend = spent
8000 = 8,000
look = looks
you = your
dont = don't
u = you
alwayss = always
No wonder I always ignore all of your posts.
anyways Gary... your Coupé is looking better & better every day.
The C350 intake tube mod is a great idea and obviously working great.
I need to update my thread with the AMG airbox mod that's working just as well for me.

I can't wait till you take more pictures of the airbox! Carlos, I had in mind, about "wrapping the c32 amg airbox with carbon fiber sheets"
Take more pics of the k-adaptor for the MAF, thats the question where everyone is wondering
I can't wait to see more pictures of your car!!!!

my next target is a S4. but then Again, i'm not a 4 door or audi kinda guy. Most likely a 335xi coupe. or if the 1 series is not ugly when it comes out, the M1, aka 135ci.

Review: Evosport Udps (under Drive Pulley System)
REVIEW: EVOSPORT UDPS FOR V6 MOTORS
INSTALLED: APRIL 10th, 2007
There has been alot of theories about the evosport UDPS offered for our Mercedes-Benz vehicles. Some "tuners" had told me that this system is "garbage" and has no purpose what so ever.
I have been debating on getting the UDPS for about a year or so, but in April, I had finally pulled the trigger and had gotten the UDPS. The whole system inclues, the following... (water pump, alternator, power steering, new belt)
The quality on the evosport UDPS is pretty good, its definitly lighter in weight and seems more durable than our stock pullies. The UDPS is a bit bigger in size, but lighter in weight, therefore requiring a longer belt.
There has been alot of debating on the "horsepower" achieved by the Evosport UDPS. I personally believe that the pulleys are there to "free up" lost horsepower. Evosport states something like a proven 12-15hp gain.
It cost me roughly about $110 for installation. After installation, I took the car out for a hard drive, I've noticed that the low end of the rpm range has a little more throttle response that how the stock system had it. So now this gives a little "bigger" of a RPM throttle range. I felt that the 0-30 speed is less slug-ish than the stock system, and also providing a better response at 80+mph.
Now wrapping up, Overall, for Performance upgrade, I would give this a (A-), but price wise, it seems a bit overcharged@ $360. (B-)

I like your scoring system. Good rating (A- / B- )
I've heard opinions on both side of the spectrum regarding the UDPS kit.
No ones engine has blown up or had catastrophic camshaft failure so far, so I think it's a proven product. Before & After dynos should validate the HP gain claims though.
The evosport UDPS is waiting for me up in HB for install. Just need to get some free time to drive up there.

Next up, Reviewing Renntech airbox and the infamous K&N airfilters lol

Anyway, Advans, your car looks really cool. The Renntech Airbox is insane. About the Evo pullies, I was thinking about doing it on my car but decided that the gains weren't enough to warrant a mod like that. My friend has an E55 with Evo pullies (huge hp gains) but hes shredded about 4 pairs of them.
About you kicking the E500's ***...that's pretty crazy because they are very fast cars and have about 100 more tq than your car. I would love to see your car in person and run against it if you wanted, it must be one quick little coupe! And my car is now stock performance wise so don't worry about any hidden bottles lol. I'm saving my mods for the new M3 and I'm gonna leave my car alone.
Cool car though, the spoiler is a very nice touch.

ayy thanks alot bro,
again, I dont have a c230kompressor, I have a C320. the V6. Stock HP is around 215hp.
C320 0-60 6.8s with the slapmatic transmission
E500 0-60 6.7s with the slapmatic transmission.
my C320 has the renntech airbox, evosport pullies, remus exhaust.
Its one hell of a fast coupe!
I take the E500 out sometimes, and its seriously not as quick as my car.
but about your friend shreadding a few belts, thats nuts.... the belts that come with the kit are pretty durable, they are actually stronger than our stock belts!

REVIEW: RENNTECH AIRBOX (K&N FILTERS) vs STOCK AIRBOX (STOCK PAPER FILTERS)
REVIEW: RENNTECH CARBON FIBER AIRBOX (K&N AIR FILTERS) vs STOCK AIRBOX (STOCK PAPER FILTERS)
INSTALLED: APRIL 17, 2007
The infamous Renntech Carbon Fiber airbox, and K&N Airfilters. The rare Renntech airbox is not 100% Carbon Fiber, but is basically a Stock Airbox, with a "carbon fiber top". The base of the airbox is the same as the stock airbox, but the interior baffels, and cover are removed, ending up with a Carbon Fiber Top, and a hollow interior.
The Renntech Carbon Fiber Airbox is seriously alot lighter in weight than the Stock Airbox, lighter meaning A LOT lighter. It is really hard to get your hands on a Renntech Carbon Fiber Airbox in the first place, and especially rare for the M112 Engines. This airbox well retails over 4 digits, and probably not possible to get unless you get a ECU upgrade as well.
After a long drive, popping open the hood, I can put my hand ON the airbox, and the airbox is just warm. But with the stock airbox, try doing that, next thing you know your hand is burning like hell! We all know how Warm air and our car reacts.
Before performance comes into play, the issue of "sound" comes in. I did a small test with myself, and one of my buddies. I neutral revved up the car with...
1. Stock Airbox with Stock Paper Filters
2. Stock Airbox with K&N "High flow" Cotton Filters
3. Renntech Carbon Fiber Airbox with Stock Paper Filters
4. Renntech Carbon Fiber Airbox with K&N "High flow" Cotton Filters
I can say if you're looking for a nice "deep" sound, you would need the K&N Filters. Don't get me wrong, sound improvement is very minimal. With the Renntech Airbox, and a dirty K&N Cotton filter, the sound is somewhat close to 1/2 the sound of a GruppeM Carbon Fiber Intake for E46 330xi. With the Renntech Carbon Fiber Airbox, when driving at high rpm range, 3500+, you will hear this loud throaty "air intake" sound. grooooooooowwwlll!!!
Performance is probably what everyone questions about, but I can say, "It's great" But what I really care about is it's visual appearance! it's one hell of a looker!
I can say, this is my most favorite mod on my car. Overall in Visual Appearance, I'd give this an (A-) why? because it doesnt come with a Carbon Fiber FRONT appearance cover. If it did, this would surely be a A+! Sound wise, I'd give it a (A-) as well, it comes with a throaty sound, but not throaty enough like the GruppeM Intakes. Performance Wise, I'm sure fellow Renntech Airbox Owners will give this a (A+) like I would, This is proven to squeeze about 15-18hp gain! while for a CL55 would squeeze well over 30+hp! and a GruppeM intake for e46 330 squeezes a 5hp gain
