first you have to CLEAN ur wheels, wet sand the lips with 200 grit paper to 400, then to 800 grit. tape up ur wheels with painters tape, use index cards for the outside of the lip (tire side), then do light coats of base primer, then (satin black) like i used. then a few more light coats, let it dry for a day, then buy the 1/4" pinstripes from autozone or something

My wheels need the same thing ...
I bought them used and they have curb rash - did not think it was a big deal and not so much now seeing the magic you can perform.

went out with a e46fanatic member for a photoshoot yesterday!
recent mods...
1. Hollowed out AMG airbox (fins removed)

haha guys, I'm thinking of doing the red again, since I redid my tails again, no more mugenx style, it's the frankw style with the RED/BLACK/RED look, i love it.

just make sure it's not too dark in the middle. when i did mine i had made the reverse light useless. lol
too lazy to do it on the new tail lights yet.
ooh and your buddy with the E46 should've gone with the 6&4 GTs. the 6&2 will unsettle the rear during hard braking since it can't stop as well as the front. one of the reason I got the 4piston rear after i got the front.

yeah, he was telling me he should have gotten 4 piston rear too!
