It looks like the AMG wing but a little bigger...

Like JeT said..like an our AMG spoilers, but three piece!!!
So who makes that?
It looks somewhere between AMG and rennTech for show factor
Hmm on reflection....is it the renny?

Looks like the RennTech to me (I should know!)

As I just posted in another thread, theirs is now a one-piece spoiler.

Which one are you referring to? If its the first one, its still a three piece.

The first one.

And while that one is a 3-piece, they have changed how they make them, as they're now all one-piece (talking about the RennTechs).

Actually, I quite like how that one was designed. More obvious than the AMG wing but still not in-your-face....it suits the coupe.

Looks great... Although I would call it a "spoiler" rather than a "wing."

Hey tommance, how does the three piece hold up? In mean, do the corner pieces stay in alignment with the center piece well?

Trying to figure out why RennTech went to a one-piece...

Funny you should mention that. I just got in a replacement for the centerpiece - had a couple of cracks (as Greg pointed out to me at the first PA meet). Bob from RennTech (good Bob, not MB-BOB ) sent it up to me to replace what I have. Driving down to Atlantic City to drop it off tomorrow for painting.

Anyway, from the sound of it, mine was almost at the prototype level, as they have changed the material and gone to the one-piece. He said they simplified because lining up the three pieces is too much of a PITA to mount and keep straight. I like the 3-piece better, actually, and am glad that he still had the mold, and they were able to do just the middle in the new material.

Mine still lines up perfectly, 6-7 months later, so I don't think I'll have a problem with drooping, at least until I hit 50. :p

It needs to be painted and glued onto the car. Unless you have experience at body work, it is not a d-i-y project.

I understand that, but in terms of taking it off, it's not going to be a problem (i.e. when lease expires, wing comes off, dealer wont see/care that the wing was there)

STFF! :p

I don't know which thread it was, but I didn't say anything new or post a pic or anything, other than to restate that the one-piece looks just like the three-piece, but all as one piece. Can't say it any simpler.

02I - I should be getting my old middle portion removed within the next couple of weeks, as they will be putting in a new piece. I'll make sure to ask whoever does it how hard it was to remove the old spoiler & glue, and will post the results here. 'kay?

oh ok, i would just like to know though since its not a 3 peice does it still have 2 little extensions to go on the rear lights like the 3 peice, or is it shorter and just covers the trunk part only? or then again i guess it could be just as long but the 2 peices are connected to the big one, so that would mean that when u open the trunk u got 2 little flaps hanging off the side?
