Is SLKfans a crook?

I read posts indicating SLKfans took awhile to ship the sprintbooster, but in the end he would in fact ship. However, it has been over a month, and he has not responded to any of my inquiries about my order for a sprintbooster which he accepted payment through paypal for over a month ago. Do I need to get my money back from paypal? What are the rest of your experiences?

Just watching the whole drama...
someone actually got a group buy together from someone overseas
and that went on for several weeks, and suddenly he resurfaces had been out of town, and took care of his backlog.

Not the best way to do biz. From the posts, as you say, it seems he's OK,
but doesn't seem to feel it's a problem to just respond or ship when he feels like it. Hang in there.
You could file a dispute with PP to get your money back or at least get the attention of SLKFans. They have set allowable time periods, 30 days I think.
If the seller fails to respond to them, and/or can't provide tracking info, fails to resolve the issue, they deduct the money from his account.
If the sellers account doesn't have enough funds, they block their account till things are settled. And that can take ages.

At least perhaps you might get his attention. It's worked for me, lit a fire under a seller and I got my merchandise. Losing your Paypal account can severely suck for a seller and can be a strong motivator to get off their ****.

I had the same experience. He never would reply to my emails so I said screw it and went with the group buy overseas. I had my sprint booster in 3 days.

Was it just a matter of emailing paypal to get your money back?

I never paid SLKFans. I figured if he never replied to my questions forget about giving him my money. As far as Paypal is concerned you need to file a dispute with them.
