2 questions....
If this has been addressed previously, my apologies.... I have an 06 c230 sport, prewired for the phone.
first question: Asked the dealer today about the cost of installing the phone (I know it's prewired and assume the mic is already overhead). He gave me a quote of $1700.00 installed. Seems awful high. From what I can gather all I need is the puck and cradle (I have the Razor V3 with Verizon). It seems if everything is there I should be able to do it myself?
second question: Is there an aftermarket option that will let me do a DIY that's cheaper than the dealer option but use the factory pre-wire?
Third question (ok I'm on a roll): How can I tell that I have the acoustic signal when I lock the doors? Currently there is no signal. Hate to the the stealer.... they would probably insist on an "install" then just turn on an option in the program...

. You can do an OEM Bluetooth ($408 retail according to MBUSA) but then that will require having the plugs installed and I don't know how much that will cost you2nd question: There is an Argos Bluetooth in development for the 05+ models. Pre 2005 model are about $800 so the new ones should be priced around the same. The plus side is that the bluetooth model wont take up space in your center armrest so you'll have room for you phone and etc. Another option is getting a aftermarket head unit with bluetooth (only if you don't have the COMMAND system, I like my COMMAND so its staying
