Question What should I do?

Hello everyone,

After reading the forums for a few days now I have a bit of a problem that i'm not sure how to go about it. Sunday night my C240 (bought 2 months ago) ENGINE CHECK lamp lit up the only thing i did diferent was put gas in a new gas station (not my regular) i've done all types of checks from fuel cap to turning the engine on and off 3 or 4 times and nothing seems to make it go away permanently it will come on and off as it feels like. Since i'm new to the MB world i just learn my car is still under warranty (year 2004 milage 42000) so i guess i qualify under that 48/50000 MB warranty don't I? Can I just go to the dealer and ask them to fix it at no cost to me? or is this something that they won't cover for some odd reason? Needless to say i still have 1500 miles to B service. What should I do? am I protected by this warranty. Any advice or help will be greatly appreciated as you guys can see i'm completely lost!

Seems like you are under warranty, just take it in to the dealer.

Mercedes is gone physically, but still in my heart.
If you're under warranty, you should be covered. If for some reason it isn't, your service advisor will call you first.
