will the magazine just not eject? or just doesnt play the cds? sometimes if you hold down on the eject button for 10secs or more it resets and will pop out the magazine

Hey mvC230. This has happened to me a few times.

Buy one of those Professional Strength Air Duster cans from Office Depot, CVS, Wallgreens, etc. (You'll need a large one, at least 10 oz. for power.) Aim the straw into the area where the CD's are and blow it for awhile. Try ejecting while blowing the air duster into the changer.

If that doesn't work, I unscrewed my CD changer and shook it while blowing air into it with the duster. I then reattached it and the CD ejected. (I noticed that it happens to me when I use CD-R's and on hot days. Go figure!) Hope this helps.

Better yet buy a can of Redi Whip, and inhale the N02 within.
Huh? A can of Air Duster?

Lets revist the past-------what got it out? My 2003 is in the same boat. The cartridge is stuck. I am about to go ape on it and start beating it.

My wife's C240 CD changer is also stuck now. Before it would just have trouble or not play cdr's. I'm going to try to reset the eject button mentioned above, If all fails where can we buy a used changer?

PM me. I have an extra, as my problem is with the db2 link, proven by installing both changers in another vehicle and tested ok.
