I got warned about a power steering failure when fooling around with dyno mode by another W203 owner in Seattle, and so I haven't messed with it.
But typing it, it sounds like BS to me. Why would the power steering have anything to do with the TCS and ABS?
You guys heard anything like that, or is he just pulling my leg.

Can you really do a real burnout with a c240? I mean assuming that that the traction is off, it doesnt seem to have any power to do a burnout unless you have bold tires or wet payment. Just picked up a 05 C240 4matic. While it is a good car to cruise around, it is very low in power. It is supposed to have 2.6L v6 but doesnt feel like it. I also have a 00 BMW 323Ci which is 2.5L and it is hell alot of faster than c240.
I know mine is a 4matic hence slower but how fast is regualr c240 to 60?Stock 323ci does it in 7.0 secs but this car seems like it is taking alot longer. Any upgrade options to bump up the hp?

You don't need a line lock, all you need to do is use your left foot to hold the brakes just barely enough to keep the front wheels from rolling. Once the rear is up in smoke you can let off the brakes and slowly roll away. I can roast the tires in a 6 cyl craphole Jeep with this method.
Oh btw first post here, hewwo.

believe it or not, funner is actually proper english. its either more fun or funner, they are both correct...this doesnt change the fact that I think driving around in dyno mode makes LSrev something of an idiot...his grammar is technically right...make fun of him when he hits a small puddle and spins out, not for his grammar.

thanks lol...but what are you talking about hiting a pudel and losing control i dont drive it in dyno mode...i put it in dyno mode when i do a burnout, other than that traction control is off and thats it

Ok I bought my C-class when i was working at benz...i was happy with it but somethinkg was missing...i talked to a mechanic he tought me this trick maybe most of you know this but i didnt
1)turn you key to position 2 not being on
2)push RESET 4 times really fast---A bunch of codes should pop up
3)use you arow and go up one the will be two options set it on the one your car is oppisite from
4)start your car
the abs light and traction control light will be on until you go back to the menu and restore to original settings
with traction control completly off and abs off hmm hmm fun times

I believe you have to have your odometer on the display before starting the 'process'.
